General regulations — OBLIVION International MILSIM Event
These regulations apply to every person present at the event — players, staff, crew, photographers, visitors and collaborators. The organizers have full authority over safety, access, discipline and sanctions, and their decisions are final and binding for the entire duration of the event. Only airsoft replicas and BBs are used at OBLIVION: no real firearms, no live ammunition, no bladed weapons.

1. General provisions
- Participation is allowed only to persons pre-approved by the organizers. Rejected applicants will not be granted access.
- Minors are not admitted. Access is permitted only to persons who have turned 18 by the date of the event.
- By presenting yourself at check-in you confirm that you have read, understood and fully accepted these regulations.
- If civilians are spotted in a conflict zone, the game stops immediately with the call “STOP GAME! CIVILIAN ON FIELD!” and an organizer or referee is notified at once.
- Using airsoft replicas against animals, wild or domestic, is strictly forbidden.
- Advertising or visible promotion of any kind during the event requires the organizers' prior approval.
2. Access, check-in and entry times
- Access to the event area is granted only after check-in is complete: identity document verification, chronograph test and issue of a unique identification number.
- Every participant presents all required forms in original, printed and hand-signed: the participant declaration, the vehicle declaration and the airsoft replica declaration.
- The unique identification number is worn visibly for the whole duration of your presence at the event. Without it you are off-game until you are identified and the situation is corrected.
- Changes to the participant list or transfers of slots are valid only with the organizers' written approval. Informal deals are not recognised.
- Check-in hours and access windows are announced publicly. Arrivals outside those windows may be refused.
3. Mandatory equipment and recommendations
- Certified eye protection is MANDATORY across the entire play perimeter, except in safe zones such as the camping and eating areas. Prescription or sun glasses are not accepted without adequate protection over them.
- A red dead rag by day and a red light by night must be used by every hit player — including in friendly-fire situations.
- Proper outdoor footwear is mandatory. Gloves, knee pads and face protection are recommended; in CQB zones certain protection items may be made mandatory.
- Each player is responsible for their own equipment, battery reserves, hydration and personal first-aid kit.
4. Chronograph, replicas and performance
- All replicas are chronographed at check-in. Non-compliant replicas are banned from the field.
- The FPS limits and minimum engagement distances in the table above are mandatory and will be checked periodically by organizers and referees.
- In safe zones replicas are unloaded with the magazine removed. Presenting a loaded replica in a safe zone is sanctioned.
- Blind firing, shooting into crowds or any other dangerous use of a replica brings immediate disciplinary measures.
5. The HIT procedure, eliminations and fair play
- The procedure is simple and mandatory: the hit participant shouts “HIT!” / “DEAD!”, shows the dead rag (day) or red light (night) and either waits for a medic (a participant in the scenario) to be revived or withdraws immediately to respawn. Eye protection stays on throughout the withdrawal.
- Self-declaring hits is mandatory. Attempting to hide a hit is cheating and is sanctioned progressively, up to a permanent ban.
- Disputes about hits, non-hits or any other disagreement anywhere in the event area are resolved only through the organizers or referees. Their decision is final.
- Firing through obstacles toward opponents is forbidden.
6. Organizers, referees and enforcement
- Organizers and referees wear visible identifiers. They may stop the game, request checks and apply sanctions immediately.
- Referees may apply sanctions without the organizers' approval.
- Refusing to follow organizer or referee instructions brings severe sanctions for the participant and, where applicable, for their team or club.
7. Health, medical and emergencies
- At check-in you are told the location of the first-aid point, the ambulance access routes and the emergency contacts.
- Medical staff are present according to the event plan. In an emergency, only the organizers call 112.
- Any accident, fracture, bleeding or medical incident is reported immediately to the organizers or referees and recorded in the official incident form.
- A participant who poses a risk to themselves or others may be removed from the game or evacuated without refund.
8. Alcohol, drugs, physical condition and real weapons
- Possession or use of real weapons of any kind is strictly prohibited across the entire event area. Under Article 372 of the Romanian Criminal Code, carrying a knife or any bladed weapon without right — even a seemingly harmless one — is a criminal offence and is punished by law.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly forbidden before and throughout the event. Detection, or ignoring the organizers' instructions on this, means permanent removal and a permanent ban without refund.
- Organizers and referees may request a medical evaluation or the temporary removal of any participant whose condition raises concern.
- Aggressive behaviour and verbal or physical abuse are sanctioned immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
9. Night operations and movement on the field
- Moving alone is forbidden for the whole duration of the game. Move in groups of at least two — on the field and in safe zones (camping, eating areas) alike.
- Red light, dead rag and mandatory night gear are used according to instructions.
- Dangerous zones may be closed at night. Route instructions from organizers and referees are mandatory and are passed to the faction coordinators (generals, commanders, captains).
- Passing through villages is allowed on foot or in vehicles registered in the game, but using replicas while doing so is strictly forbidden. Any breach may bring immediate sanctions.
10. Field markings and off-game zones
- Respect the markings as laid out on the field map.
- Changing or removing props and decor elements without approval is forbidden and sanctioned.
- Temporary structures have a posted capacity. Exceeding it is not allowed.
- Incidents in the camping area before GAME START are each participant's own responsibility. Any incident of any kind is reported to the organizers immediately.
11. Interaction with locals
- Throughout the event, players show respect, politeness and civilised conduct toward anyone outside the game — locals, visitors or other people near the play area.
- Using replicas, equipment or any other object in a way that could intimidate or endanger locals or people not involved in the game is strictly forbidden.
- Communication with locals is calm and respectful. Misunderstandings or incidents are reported immediately to a referee or organizer.
- Breaching this rule brings immediate sanctions, from temporary removal from the game to permanent exclusion from the event without refund. The authority of referees and organizers here is final and cannot be contested.
12. Special effects, smoke and pyrotechnics
- All pyrotechnic or smoke effects require prior approval and are operated exclusively by the organizers.
- Commercial airsoft grenades may be allowed only with written approval. Their use may change the respawn rules and safety distances.
- Any effect that endangers health or the environment is forbidden.
13. Batteries, HPA, CO₂ and charging areas
- Batteries are charged only in the designated areas. Unattended charging is not allowed.
- HPA and CO₂ refills are done only in designated spaces, by authorised persons.
- In any incident involving batteries or gas, follow the staff's instructions.
- HPA tanks are sealed by the organizing team at check-in. If a refill is needed, the seal is broken only in the presence of a referee or organizer and the tank is resealed afterwards.
14. Vehicles, drones and special equipment
- Using a vehicle in the game requires the organizers' prior approval and compliance with the conditions they impose — see the vehicle regulations below.
- Drones are forbidden without the organizers' authorisation and compliance with aviation law.
- Owners of vehicles or special equipment are responsible for any damage and for holding the necessary authorisations, as stated in the signed vehicle declaration.
15. Communications, language and ethics
- Radio communication is concise and effective, in appropriate language (Romanian or English).
- Insults, harassment and inappropriate behaviour are forbidden and sanctioned.
- Internal disputes are reported to the referees. Attempting to settle them aggressively on your own brings sanctions.
16. Noise and conduct in the camping area
- The camping zone is for rest and recovery. Every player respects the peace and comfort of the others.
- Between 22:00 and 07:00, loud noise, loud music, shouting and any other behaviour that disturbs resting participants are forbidden.
- The only exception is an official activity organised by the organizers and announced in advance.
- Sound systems, generators and other noisy equipment may not be used during rest hours.
- Breaches are sanctioned by referees or organizers, from a warning up to permanent exclusion from the event.
17. Environmental protection and BBs
- The organizers may require biodegradable BBs only. Compliance is mandatory.
- Littering is strictly forbidden. Use the waste collection points provided.
- Environmental breaches may bring sanctions and an obligation to remediate.
- Dumping waste of any kind (oils, chemicals, etc.) anywhere on the field, including the camping zones, is strictly forbidden.
18. Incident reporting and discipline
- All incidents, including near-misses, are reported to the referees and recorded in the incident form.
- Sanctions are progressive: verbal warning, time-out, temporary exclusion from the game, permanent ban.
- Serious offences may lead to permanent removal without refund and to a report to the competent authorities.
19. Media, photographers and off-game visitors
- Media and off-game visitors are admitted only with the organizers' approval. They wear a visible identifier and are accompanied in the play area.
- Photo and video material may be used by the organizers according to the consent signed at check-in.
- Shooting at media staff, photographers or videographers is strictly forbidden.
20. Updates and administration
- Reading and acknowledging the regulations is mandatory.
- Joule limits, special mission procedures and any changes to the regulations are communicated officially at the briefing or through the channels announced at check-in.
- The organizers reserve the right to amend the regulations and take operational decisions in the interest of safety and the smooth running of the game.
21. Acceptance and final provisions
- By signing the acknowledgment declaration and attending the event, the participant confirms having read, understood and accepted the rules and the organizers' decisions.
- All documents required for participation are brought completed and hand-signed in original and handed to the organizing team at check-in.
- The organizers may refuse access or modify or suspend participation without refund, at their discretion, for safety or disciplinary reasons.
